Carolina Panthers’ Playoff Rematch Set For Most Expensive Game Of 2015

It wasn’t pretty, but the Carolina Panthers are coming off a season that saw them earn an NFC South division title and a playoff victory over the Arizona Cardinals before falling to the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round. The Panthers became the first team in NFC South history to have back-to-back division titles, and also became the second team ever to win a division title with a sub-.500 record. Cam Newton and Ron Rivera are looking to make it a three-peat in 2015.

The Panthers had a scary moment in December when Newton was involved in a car accident that resulted in two transverse process fractures in his lower back. Newton was held overnight for observation but was for the most part okay and is expected to be ready for training camp and all other football activities leading up to the regular season.

Carolina seems to have found a legit threat at the wide receiver position in Kelvin Benjamin, as the Florida State wide receiver finished with over 1,000 receiving yards and nine touchdowns during his rookie season. Along with pass-catching tight end Greg Olsen, the Panthers will roll out a similar product this season in vying for for a deeper postseason push.

Carolina was only down four points at halftime, and a scoreless third quarter brought them into the fourth with the same score. The Seahawks and their home crowd took care of business right there, however, outscoring the Panthers 17-7, en route to winning, 31-17. Fans can see the Panthers try to emulate the Seahawks in this one with a strong defense, a run-controlled offense and a playmaker at quarterback.

Least Expensive: 1/3/2016 | Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Bank Of America Stadium | Average Price: $156.42 | Get-in Price: $34

The Panthers’ least expensive game for 2015 is with the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs will certainly have a different aura to them during their two meetings this season, as Thursday’s draft has them picking No. 1 overall. As a result, Buccaneers tickets have become somewhat of a hot item, with Tampa Bay on the verge of commencing a brand new era in franchise history.
